The Glow in the Dark Tour
All I can say is... Wow! This was probably the greatest concert ever. The event was held in the Staples Center, where the WHOLE stadium was packed from top to bottom. Our seats where pretty decent; we sat on the first floor and had a great view of the stage. I felt sorry for those located on the third floor, for I experienced the feeling of having a nose bleed while at the Lakers vs. Clippers game. The performances went in this order: Lupe Fiasco (w/ Bishop G, Nikki Jean, and Matthew Santos), N.E.R.D. & Pharrell, Rihanna, and Kanye West. Kanye's performance was a killer; his whole set-up and the order in which he performed his songs made it spectacular. Kanye performed songs off of all 3 of his CD's without any breaks, so I knew Ye must have been tired as hell after that one. I also heard that it was Kanye's Birthday that day, which probably made him go all out during this tour date. I was so into Ye's performance that I accidentally smacked a lady i her face with my swinging arms. That ruined the mood for both me and her as we quietly enjoyed the rest of Ye's songs. The second best (in my opinion) was Lupe Fiasco's performance. Rihanna's was good and N.E.R.D.'s was meh, but I was still glad to see them perform. All being said, this concert was worth every penny. If they was to do another one, I would pay $500 for a ticket (yea, its worth THAT much to me).

Today, June 3, 2008, Senator Obama makes history as he wins the Democratic presidential nomination. Obama is the first African American to do so, making today a very historical night. It was a long 17-month marathon against Hillary Clinton, but finally America has chosen Senator Obama to represent the Democratic party in the race for presidency. Obama will be competing against Republican Senator John McCain during this time of Change! (*Photo provided by Yahoo! News)

Lakers are in the Finals!
Rest in Peace, Bo Diddley.
Bo Diddley died at age 79 on Monday, June 2, 2008. He will be missed. The tune I will always remember from him is his self entitle single, "Bo Diddley". Something about that song made you want to get up and dance, no matter what mood you was in. He was one of the greatest guitar players at his time. Your music shall live on forever, Bo Diddley.
