As a child, I grew up with many different inspirational factors, one of them being music. Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was always the preference of choice growing up in my household. I would remember me, my mother, my younger brother DeAngelo, and father dancing to every Michael Jackson tune, singing all the lyrics, and having a blast. As a matter of fact, the movie Moonwalker was one of my all time favorites growing up as a kid. I also recall me and DeAngelo going to a video game place called Nickel Nickel, where we would play Michael Jackson's Moonwalker video game. As you can tell, I was a major fan of Mr. Jackson.
Around the time that Michael Jackson was undergoing multiple surgeries and appearance changes, that when my fanatic attitude started to decrease. Kids in school used to joke around about his transformation; even though I laughed, I continued to enjoy his music. Then the child molestation incident occurred... and that was the death of Michael's career (in my opinion). Nobody really cared about his music anymore, everyone was focused on whether he did it or not. It wasn't until today that I suddenly realized that nothing good last forever. Just as I was getting out of Jury Duty, my dad called me to inform me of the bad news. Michael Jackson was rushed to the UCLA hospital because he was under cardiac arrest and was found at his home not breathing. Feeling skeptical, I awaited conformation that he passed away on several news stations... yet according to TMZ, Michael was indeed dead.
It is crazy that his death had to occur in order for me to have full appreciation of what he truly was, and I could say the same for everyone else. Michael never would have received this kind of praise, remorse, or appreciation if he didn't pass away. If you were to mention Michael Jackson's name just before this incident, people would show negative emotion towards him. Its true that you don't really miss what you have until it's dead or it' gone. Just going back and listening to a few songs has already reminded me of my childhood idol and how much of a impact he has made on me. I want to give a special thanks to my parents for introducing me to the musical genius, my godmother Rosa for giving me his Ultimate Collection for Christmas a couple of years back, and Michael Jackson for being the best you could be even through the hardest times. Rest in peace Michael Jackson, you will always be missed. (August 29, 1958-June 25, 2009)
P.S. My favorite Michael Jackson song is Dirty Diana. My next favorites are P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing), Beat It, Smooth Criminal, and of course Thriller.

Modern Warfare 2
Here is the Official Teaser Trailer for the 6th installment of Call of Duty! Woo!
It sucks that Infinity Ward decided to take "Call of Duty" out of the name and just leave it was Modern Warfare 2. But anyways, I'm excited that it will be coming out soon: November 10, 2009! Copping the first day hahaha.
